| ADDAM Translations Limited is based in the historic
city of Lancaster, an old Roman town, not far from the stunning
scenery of the Lake District in the northwest of England. We
are a group of four translators, all modern language graduates,
who formed a partnership in autumn 2002 after having worked
together at the UK office of a Scandinavian-based translation
agency. We have a small but well-equipped office in a converted
mill complex. All four members translate from Swedish, Norwegian
and Danish into English, with the administrative tasks being
shared between us.
In May 2004 ADDAM Translations became a limited company.
We strive to make quality our watchword, and thus translate
only into our native language, English, never from it. In
total the four partners have combined experience of approximately
18 years. We are not a translation agency – we do all
the translation ourselves and never pass the work on to third
parties. If we cannot do the work, we won’t accept the
job. When you deal with us, you only deal with us.
